Do you want to FEEL better?

I spend a lot of time talking about becoming aware of our thoughts. Knowing what we are thinking and managing our thoughts to create the results we want.

I've also explained how our thoughts create our feelings and how feelings drive everything. Everything we do or don't do comes from how we are feeling. 

How we FEEL can feel like it's happening to us. Like we're a victim of what we're feeling. Where the reality is that we can control how we feel by managing our thoughts. 

I recently noticed that I was doing my thought-work and still some days feeling crummy. Just an overall frumpy or negative emotion. However, the thought-work I was doing was not addressing the cause of this negativity. The source of the negativity was something different. When I asked what I was feeling and why, this unlocked the hidden issue causing my negativity. 

I'm not always great at finding what I'm thinking when I put myself on the spot. So, I allow my mind to work behind the scenes while I'm going about my day. Revealing here and there the hidden thoughts causing my negative emotions. 

This process isn't one that I sat down and did. It's a moving process I'm doing in my mind throughout the day.

There might be days we intentionally choose to feel a negative emotion. This isn't about always changing how we're feeling. 

It's about choosing how we feel and choosing the experience of our life.
