Before the New Thought

When we are doing thought-work, there is an important step that I want to make sure we don't forget. 

It's so amazing that our thoughts are our choice. We get to decide and we get to be intentional with our thoughts. 

There can be a time where we need to pause and acknowledge and allow where we are before we move on. It's not always easy to know when we need this, until our body tells us. 

If we have an emotion that keeps coming up, we need to give it our attention. It can be easy to avoid the thoughts and feelings because we don't want to feel the uncomfortable emotions. Especially when you get good at doing this work. You'll know that you can redirect your thoughts, change your thoughts to change how you are feeling.

This can be part of the work that can be uncomfortable. You are strong and you can do hard things. Just because you can do it, doesn't mean you have to do it alone.
